    bigger hard drive for p7120???

    anyone else needing more space? 60gb just ain't cutting it. are 80+gb 1.8" drives available??

    I know Toshiba is making 80GB drives, but I don't know where to get them. I think I've seen 80GB Hitachi's at Newegg, but not anymore. Who knows what Seagate is doing, they don't seem very commited to the retail 1.8 and 2.5 inch markets. It looks like they build what they think they'll need for OEM sales, and then sell the limited remains retail.

    I do know Seagate expects to ship a 120GB drive by year's end, but again, who knows what we'll see retail and when.

    great info. thanks alot. that's one thing i never considered when i bought the laptop. i may have to resort to a firewire/usb2 external drive. (hmm. great reason for me to go buy an ipod. :) ) or maybe someone makes/will make a hard drive caddy for use in place of the dvd or spare battery.
