Is it worth it to buy a new battery for a 3 year old S6231? I keep it plugged in at work and home, but now and then I use it for lengths of time on battery. I notice the battery doesn't last as long as it did when it was new 3 years ago.

And if I buy new batteries from Fujitsu for this model, are they new batteries or have they been sitting in their warehouse since this model was introduced in 2005.

Should I get new batteries and squeeze another 3 years life out of this notebook or suffer until I can't take it and get a new notebook eventually?

    Thanks for your input.

I'd wait until it's not meeting your needs to consider a new battery.
