hey, i have a fujitsu s7010d with a very good crystal view screen and i am wondering how i should go about cleaning it off.

i have read in other forums about people and what they use, but i was just curious what people that actually own fujitsu's might have found to work good.

i have heard about the iklear and klear screen stuff, but i don't know if i feel like spending that much on screen cleaner. so just let me know what has worked for you.

    thanx much!

i've found that microfiber cloths work very well, for my N6210 anyway, i never really use any type of cleaner, but i also have never really felt the need to touch the screen with my bare hands either.

But dont paper towels leave dust residue?

My problem is that my screen gets dusty, i dont get it dirty though. I use a cloth.

I suggest you use a dry soft cloth and give the screen a quick wipedown to get the majority of the dust off. Then dampen the cloth with a mix of water and windex and give it a preliminary wipedown, followed by the cloth dampened with only windex, followed by wiping it down with a dry cloth and buffing out the windex residue. I have done this time and time again and I've never had any negative results. These enhanced LCDs may look very beautiful, but they do require lots of cleaning.

Yeah, I've used photo lens, glasses, and guitar cleaning cloths. Anything very soft and non-abrasive will do. Be sure to throw the cloth in the pocket of a pair of dirty pants and wash it when you do the laundry. Remember that the dirt and dust you wipe off your screen is abrasive, and can scratch your screen if you don't wash the cloth.

I suggest you don't use either one of them....

The Fujitsu owner's manual suggests not to use glass cleaners for their screens that can degrade the protective coating.

Also, paper towel is abrasive. I strongly reccommend microfiber cloths.
