Should I buy FUJITSU-SIEMENS AMILO XI 1546 as a desktop replacement?
Which is the pros and cons of this system?
Is it true that it produces high temperature?

Well, the notebook is quite big, and almost all 17" notebooks are marketed as desktop replacement notebooks. I personally don't mind its size, and I find my notebook to be fine, when I carry it around. I don't carry it much distance, however. You may want to read the review of the notebook to get a good idea of what it is like. I have linked it below:
    http://www.notebookreview.com/default.asp?newsID=3062&review=Fujitsu+Siemens

I find the notebook perfect for my needs, as I game lot and I like the large screen and keyboard. The screen, though is probably thr best visual feature of the notebook, as it has a really sharp picture and images look crisp and very clean on it. In terms of heat, it does produce a bit, but its nothing that ever bothers me. It will get warm under the right part of the keyboard, because the graphics card is located there, but everywhere else, it stays cool. The fan also remains off for most of the time, and only when gaming does it come on to a resonable spin rate, where it can be heard. but if you are playing a game, you will never hear the fan over the sound of the game itself.

The build quality fo the notebook is also very good. Its heavy, but its within the limits of a normal 17" notebook, and I got used to fairly quickly. I would recommend thisk notebook anyone looking for a powerful 17" notebook.
