I thought I read somewhere a while back that the P7 series supports dvd movie watching or music listening without booting into windows is this true? I've looked in my manual and also on the computer itself but I can't find this feature if it is avail.

My Acer manual mentions this feature also but I know for a fact that the Aspire 1680 series of laptop don't have this feature, they were probably just grouping some common info into my acer manual from other models that do support this feature.

So do the P7's support this feature? TIA.

The P7 does not have this. Only the N6000 does.
