The switch may have gone bad then. Aside from re-installing your wireless drivers, I think calling support to get it repaired is your best bet.

Hi, I have also L1310 with the same problems with WLAN swicth.
From odd reason what Fujitsu service are not yet solved for me is that why wlan switch only works with power user rights.
And second thing what they told me was that Odysseys client sw do not work right with xp sp2?!
So, if Odysseys sw is still in your machine, just remove it (take backup before it).

there is no problem with your wirelless drivers, if you have this problem try to start power mannager (is a program instaled with the drivers, you will find him in the start menu) and if you let the program in the task you will see that te wirrels buton will work

its been 2 years since this question had been posted..

    anyway...

I don't know if this is common problem of Fujitsu...

    BUT,,,

I have C2310 with me and there is a switch on the right side of my laptop

this seems to be the problem...

there is a switch that is connected that is connected to the switch i mentioned above is very delicate...

one day, after i turned my wireless off with this switch and i couldn't turn it back on...

    because it was broken inside

so i had to take my laptop apart and i turned it back on and now the wireless is permenantly ON

When i looked at this switch (which is inside), it was broken and it was no longer connected to the switch (outside :))

i hope this answered your question....
