    fujitsu p8020 unknown device

    in the device manager there is an unknown device that is under other devices. this is in XP. i am not sure what to do. i am an IT tech and i need to send out 10 of these laptops and i dont want to do this and have people say something dosnt work. fujitsu has yet to respond to me and i am hoping someone here can help.

    Tried Windows Update? Did you get a drivers disc?

    yes, all windows updates are completed. all drivers on disk are installed. this is the issue. it is unknown what it even is. on the website, there is an Unknown Driver for bluetooth. so i installed that and it said already installed..

    i am lost here. someone please help.

    Did you install the Fujitsu HotKey Driver Driver: FUJ02B1 and the Fujitsu System Extension Driver: FUJ02E3 from Fujitsu support?

    just did and it made no differance. called Fujitsu and they have no idea either and suggested i call microsoft.

    Maybe give the UK site a go it might have different drivers listed.

    I don't see the webcam listed there and your portable devices i don't see it there either. Maybe you could install those two drivers and see if that helps.

    all fixed up. 3 drivers were missing. i ended up downloading the Fujitsu Disk Driver program and it auto scanned everything.
