How do you guys clean the fans of your laptop? Do you think cleaning the dust off the filter insert enough? My computer had been running hot lately, and cleaning the filter helped a little bit. Are there any other recommended steps like opening up the back of the computer?

the T5010's bottom can be nearly completely removed so that's a good thing if you want to check for dust.

But first, I'd just take a powerful vacuum and stick it against the vent grill to try and suck up any dust. I once removed a cloud of dust in my old HP with just a vacuum and some effort :p
