is there a fujitsu 15.4 widescreen computer?

I havn't seen one i have seen 14.1 and even a 16.1 but i havn't seen a 15.4 inch screen by them. I know there has to be one or at least two but i havn't seen them can someone please help me out.

Hello,

Nope, FS has no 15.4 inch models for American market. They do have few models for European and Middle Eastern markets however.

I am not sure if they are planning on releasing any 15.4 inch screens in America.

 

I too wish they would make good 15.4 lifebooks with a strong gfx card .

btw : the Amilo widescreens are usually ODMs made for Fujitsu-Simenese and are reported to have many problems ( see other threads and europeans forums ) .

 

we usually find out a couple of months before any fujitsu release as to what's coming to the u.s. market, and as modh_jafarali says there is no 15.4" right now and i'll add that none we know will be here anytime soon.

what are good and bad experiences you have ahd with Amilo M 1420?

I own one myself and was quite honestly worried after your posts...I really thought I had gotten myself into trouble.

Please clearify.

I have had it for 4 months too, screen isn't that bad really. They are amde by Samsung.

 

first of all sorry for my cross posts in the meaning of FSC AMILO M 1420.

--->the problem s built up quality,the case of this machine s easily drawn,lots of scrapes on the surface of case,and two other so little scrapes on the screen in the first 3 motnhs that after bought I have.
--->well the end:It s a middle range notebook in the whole mean.If you look out a performance and built up quality both together,dont buy a FSC.Toshiba s some new models such as m30x,Quismo has truebright screen and magnesium case...but fsc has a plastic surface.So easily drawn.
--->Meanwhile the japan made Fujitsu has more quality in the built up and of course more expensive than FSC.When it has combined with Siemens Europe,they offer middle range quality and price.

I have the Amilo M1425 and it has a really nice widescreen (from Europe). Even sitting at an angle I can see the information and colours perfectly.

Yes I am upto some extent agreeing with what you have said. i didn't like the built quality either. It feels to toyish!

But I loved the screen. Angle viewing brings about no changes in colors at all!

I hope Fujitsu introduces laptops in US with widescreens.

A question to those who know...

... I, at times, open up my old cd cases and dig up games that I once was addicted to. I have a strategy game called Emperor, when I installed it on my widescreen laptop, the window, being compatible with 1024*768, stretches all the way to my widescreen edges...thus my people look really fat!

Any idea how I can make this game work fine on my screen and my people look a little more real?

the tosh m30x has amazing screen,I couldnt hold myself looking it,it s like a bright glass,super clear view.The speed s extraordinary,far faster than old fsc amilo m...actually if you ask me which one is the best trubright or sony xbrite?my answer goes to:Trubright.After amazing economy growth here Turkey(%14.5-is the first in the world in growing)lots of "it" firms
