Just wondering if anyone with the S6231 is having issues with their keyboards?
When I first received the notebook, there was some very slight flex of the keyboard on the left side. Nothing bad, just a small minor annoyance, but still love the notebook.
Now, after about 5 months of use, the flexing has gotten really bad on the left side AND two of the keys "S" and "Q" have popped off!!
I'm sure this is rare, but curious to see if anyone else is having problems with their keyboards!
Thanks.

I got mine last week, and I was going to report that my keyboard felt very solid. I notice no flex whatsoever. I was going to ask what kind of force people are putting on their keyboards when noticing flex. I'm not even looking at my keyboard when I type. I'm looking at the screen.
If support for the left side of the keyboard has given away and keys are popping off does that constitute a warranty issue, customer damage, or wear and tear?
When I had a treo 300 I read posts from users in horror that their flip lid broke off at the hinge. Well it finally happened to me and it was still before it was regarded by the sprintpcs reps as a manufacturing defect so I exercised my circuit city warranty, got a reconditioned one, yet sold it for $50 because I was disgusted with the model after that. I relate this story only to show that while I feel your pain, and cannot corroborate your findings, I appreciate your post and if the same happpens to me at some point in the future I will refer to your post as evidence of a design limitation.

Thanks for the input David. Thankfully, Fujitsu said they would replace the keyboard for me under the warranty. I was also worried about "wear and tear" but they didn't even ask me about that.
I do think I just had a bad keyboard and don't think it's an issue with the series...at least let's hope that's the case!!
keyboard problems?
