I have a fujitsu lifebook s7110 and it has 2 internal mics in the top edge of the screen. I need to turn them off. i want to use the mic jack on the side. it works ok but the internal mics still pick up noise and sound. How do i disable them? if i mute the mic in the sound panel, then the jack on the side stops working. How do i disable the internal mics? thanks, Tom

control panel - sound - recording tab - microphone - properties - general tab- device usage- disable? This works on my ASUS, your settings may vary slightly
