Saw that but still doesn't answer the HDD size question or the fan issue. I'm sad that the CF slot is gone, but do like to see the slimmer and slightly lighter body.

fanless.... nice!!! who cares about CF, it's going away soon anyway. Definetely upgrading from my s6231 that I love so much, but looking for something even smaller...

CF still comes in teh largest sizes and people with digital cameras that have it like the slot. But yes, it's not critical and I'm fine with giving it up if there are other benefits, like smaller size and weight loss.

I'm just disappointed with the 1.8" HDD.

I don't like the idea either, for a few reasons, mostly perforamnce related. But, it allows for a smaller and lighter shell, with possibly no fan. I don't know...it's a tough call but most people will be okay with the 1.8". I'm still undecided.

I hate it. It looks plastic, and yes, more plastic than the P7010.

I'm not sure if t70m is similar to P7120. But t70m is with 1.8" HDD for sure and it's fanless. Because it's fanless, it seems to get hotter easier. This information is from other forums.
