    hi
im in australia and want to purchase the fujitsu s7010. it costs US$1500 which is AU$2000...but over here in australia it costs AU$4000 new...
so i want to buy online and have it shipped to relo's in america and get then to send it to Aust. via fedex or sumfin like that.
but the problem is the power...in the US it's 110V but australia uses 220V...does ani1 kno if u can have an adapter so it can work without blowing the computer? or can fujitsu customise the laptop to 220V.
another thing is...if i buy from fujitsu, is there an international warranty?
if ani1 can help, it would b much appreciated
    thanx

I don't see anything other than a Tablet PC listed on their site for Australia. I was looking for the power converter. The machines are the same, you just need the proper ac adaptor. I recommend ordering from and calling Portable One for more help with this situation. They can probably get you everything you need. www.portableone.com

The fujitsu website seems to be say that S7000 comes with AC adapter that is auto-sensing voltage adapter.

    From Fujitsu S7000 Literature:
    "AC Adapter: Auto-sensing voltage support, 100-240V AC; DC 19V, 3.15A "

"Warranty One-year or three-year International Limited Warranty7 ; 24/7 technical support; Fujitsu Premium Care Service Plans available"

Hey, i'm in Australia and have bought a lot of stuff from the USA since the dollar is really low.
Just so that you're sure, yes the adapter works for 110 and 220, i just ordered my N6010, can't wait to get it, even after you pay the 10% and i think there's like a 49$AU release fee, it comes A LOT cheaper than herein Australia.

I called up Futjitsu a just to be sure about the warranty, and i got told several times that the warranty would work here in Australia even if the model isn't available. It would just take a little longer to get the parts in...

    See ya [} :)]
