    replacement battery advice?

    It's finally time to replace my original main battery on my S7010D (the battery is part number FPCBP82AP). I was appalled to find out that the Fujitsu websites (Canada and US) no longer carry this battery! So it seems I must get one of the "generic" batteries, which are not original Fujitsu hardware, which I'm very leery about. The "Notebook battery guide" on this site lists potential problems with generic replacements.

    So my questions:

    Any ideas where else I might look for an original Fujitsu battery?

    Has anyone had problems with a generic replacement?

    Do you recommend a place to order a generic replacement?

    Thanks for the reply. The Ebay unit unfortunately had the wrong part number.

    If anyone out there wants an original Fujitsu battery, I did manage to find one. Even though the Fujitsu web site and sales phone line had none left, the sales people suggested I try the tech support department by phone. I called and eventually obtained an original battery for my S7010.

    that's nice. i brought a geneic battery from ebay and it works great. i think it under titan batteries.
