With the other thread talking about hard drive upgrades, I thought I would just confirm what will work in the memory department. I see that companies such as Kingston have memory modules specifically made for Fujitsu models like their part number KFJ-FPC101/1G. The cost though is over 200 dollars for a 1gb stick.

Question is can I get by with any ddr333 200-pin stick of ram? If so do you have any recommendations? It looks like I could save over $70 going with a non-Fujitsu specific memory module.

    Thanks

Yes, any DDR333 memory should work with the S2110. Brands to consider include: Kingtson, Corsair, Viking, Crucial, Kingmax

Stay away from memory that is listed as "generic/house brand"...they tend to mix and match substandard parts and can be unstable.
