actually...i'd just go for the ddr333 if you already have some in your s2110. but just thinking about it again...ddr400 is tempting.

I would just go for the ddr333 RAM. You have to run some software to adjust your RAM speed, and you can't even use the ddr400 at that clock rate unless you get rid of the 333 RAM first. Plus you risk more strange incompatibility issues with 2 different speeds of RAM (theoretically should be OK, but that's just not how things always work). And jumping to ddr400 really won't make a huge difference. At least that was my logic when I bought another 512 stick.

I am going to scrap the memory that comes with my s2110 and buy two sticks of these 512mb corsair so they will be compatible. However, I was under the impression that the turion only supports ddr333 and unless I overclock, there will be no point in getting ddr400.

yea...is it smart to go with a 1024mb ddr333 and pair it up with a 256mb ddr333 that the system comes with?

I've seen people do it without any repercussions. Some sites even offer that configuration although it looks kind of wierd.

It runs pretty cool and fast (running at a stable 41 degrees most of the day), though it is average in noise. Not loud, but not the whisper quiet I have with my external Seagate. Still worth the upgrade in my opinion.
