I have loved my s6210. I can still use it fine, however, it seems that if I slightly move the laptop it resets or freezes completely (not just OS). This happens on battery and power.

Is this a bad HDD? or is it a bad motherboard? How can I tell?

Can I have Fujitsu send me a motherboard and I can replace it myself?

i guess this comes a bit late in the day,but if you still having problems try downloading hard drive test pilot by mirskiy solutions this will check your bios settings and scan your hard drive for errors and virus and remove, cant help with the mother board.
