    s7020d LCD Screen flicker problem

    Hi Guys,

    My s7020d screen on battery power ONLY is having a screen flicker problem when i open and close windows or when i scroll up and down pages. this is pissing me off. plus i have the leakage problem and the atheros softare wasnt installed too. is there a self-fix to these problems or will fujitsu fix these problems or am i screwed???


    im pissed off because i just had a s6231 which i returned because i wanted the bigger screen and didnt have any of these problems and i cant return this s7020d :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

    You should send it down to fujitsu to replace since it is under warranty

    but it doesnt make since that it ONLY does it with on battery power

    on AC it's fine.... could it be the battery?

    there could be something rong with the battery...did u try discharging the battery completely??...and then check to see if that problem still happens on the battery

    ok i think i figured it out. when it's in "max battery" mode it is flickering because it is trying to conserve the most energy on battery power. doesnt make sense to me but oh well luckily theres nothing wrong with the screen.

    ok it still wasnt the mode... so i went for the Intel drivers directly from Intel... so far so good... fujitsu site drivers are horrible.

    also the BSOD caused by the Atheros card was fixed by updating to good NEW drivers NOT from the fujitsu site... obviously there is NO QA from fujitsu on their site... i hope their tech support guys know this... or else its big headaches for a lot of s7020d customers...
