I've had this S7010D for almost one and a half years, and for a while now the display hinges have been very stiff. If I try to close the display, I often have to apply what seems to be a great deal of force before the lid starts to close, and it makes a creaking noise as I close it. I can see that the force I have to apply causes the rear of the main laptop body to flex more than I think it should.

Does anyone else have this problem? Any ideas what to do about it? Can the hinges be lubricated or loosened a bit somehow? What do I remove to get access to the hinges?

    Thanks!
