Quite often the second set of memory slots are under the keyboard.

The next step for me is to learn how to reach the other two module slots so an entirely replacement of 2x4gb rams could be replaced.

Here is the photo showing the could be reached empty slots.
There are two hidden slots with 2x4g of memory which I do would like to substitute with 2x8g module.
Is there a step by step procedure to reach those two hidden slots?
Please help if you could.Attached Files:

any step by step procedure? -
The 2x8g Hyper impact memories arrived and I dismantled the battery and installed the modules.
The computer immediately detects the installed memories to be 24g but than the usable memory still remained as before at 6.91g!?
What causes this?Attached Files:

I tried searching for " Installed Memory RAM GB usable " Here are two of Microsoft's answers:
6 GB RAM installed, but it shows only 3.48GB as usable (windows 8 pro 64. update bios or edit bios)
usable memory may be less than the installed memory in Windows 7Last edited: May 17, 2016 -
