here is the link linky link is linked

One of the down sides is that they are only expecting about 6.5 hours of battery life max, and that means 4.5-5.5 in real life (from personal experience). Overall a very nice subnotebook.

Kudos to Fujitsu for really packing a powerful lappy with a 12-inch screen in a three-pound package. Are these the first laptops to feature the SL7100 low-voltage processor (1.2 Ghz, 4 MB, 800 FSB)? I can't recall seeing that chip anywhere else. The 4MB cache and 800 FSB certainly stand out.

I also like the fact that Fujitsu put state-of-the-art features in this laptop, including LED-backlit screen and offering the option to have either Win XP and Vista for only $1,700. :)

It would have been 100% perfect if they got rid of that legacy PCMCIA slot. What's up with that anyway, Fujitsu?

I played with the laptop (the Japanese version LOOX R70) and it was beautifully built with an outstanding screen. The thin bezel is really something. HOWEVER, the keyboard is very cramped, particularly the height of the keys, less so the width. The travel and feel of the keys were fine. It is a 12 inch screen in essentially a 10 inch chassis and as such, the keyboard feels like a 10 inch's keyboard :(

i was gonna fork over for this laptop but HP is replacing my 3.5 year old laptop with a new dv2700t, so I guess this round is on HP. 2510p with the montevina treatment sounds great too

Beautiful notebook. Was wondering what took Fujitsu so long to make a 12in notebook like this.
