are the ram and hdd easily accessible?
i.e. remove a panel at the bottom.

is the ram SODIMM? (i.e. standard for laptops)

can i upgrade to 1gb ram?

    Hello there,

Yes, you can upgrade the RAM and hard drive. I found the manual on F&S' site.

To find it as well: go to support.fujitsu-siemens.com. See Manuals on your left side. After that choose Notebooks, LIFEBOOK, P-series, P7120. Then you will see a file named LIFEBOOK P Series Easyguide (english). Download it, and go to page 47.

Then you will see how to remove the hard drive and RAM.

Please note: you need microDIMM (uDimm) for this notebook. Normal SODIMM will not work. Read the manual, it is all in there. And to upgrade the HDD you need an 1.8" hard drive. Not the usual 2.5" hard drives found in notebooks. The 1.8" hard drives are harder to find, and more expensive.

    Good luck.
