    It will not fit because the front bezel is not shaped right.

    Fujitsu S6210: PentiumM 1.6Ghz 1GB DDR333 RAM 7K60 Hard Drive DVD RW Drive...
    What more do I need for this thing?

    too big? too small? if it is too big, couldnt i just sand it down or something?

    Optical drives are about as far away from standard as can be, much like batteries. Sad, but true...

    I replaced a Toshiba CD-R with another Toshiba DVD-RW in a P-2120. The plastic bezel is not much of a problem. I just removed the old one and put it on the new one. If you are inclined--I'm certain one could fabricate a "custom" fitting one-- but why bother.
    Obviously you may need additional software.
    I think there are only a few companies thant make portable CD drives (internally). I also think the ones from the same company are interchangable! But I have only experiece with above!
    The whole process only took 15 minutes for a removable drive bay!
