OnLive doesn't work well for everyone, and you probably won't have access to your game 5 years from now.

For me, the input lag would be too annoying to deal with for a game like a FPS that requires me to aim at a target.

I could imagine playing Batman: AA or AC, or other action adventure games on OnLive, that don't require extreme finesse of mouse movements.

Strange. I keep getting this error "this is not a valid win32 application" whenever I click on the shortcut after installing. I will try again later. Thanks very much for the confirmation.

Just because you didn't like it doesn't mean that other people wont.

It seems like people outside US/CA/UK can't buy anything from onlive without going through proxys and what-not.

    Way to go onlive!

depends on your internet connection, but there will always be a little bit of unavoidable input lag.

Just tried OnLive so I could play STALKER: Shadows of Chernobyl for a few minutes; trying to decide if I want to buy it from STEAM.

Let me first say I am on a WIFI connection; and 30 feet from my router.
When loading, it warns I will experience terrible quality on a WIFI connection. Ignored it and loaded STALKER. Whelp they were right, it was horri-bad. Still allowed me to experience the gist of STALKER, so I was happy about that.

I see OnLive being more of a console thing than a PC thing. I think us PC players want extreme quality and I can see where streaming would have its quality issues.

The quality of OnLive is compeletely dependent on the internet connection between you an their servers. You wouldn't want to sign up for OnLive outside of the US/CA/UK, you'd experience horrible lag and have a horrible experience.
