I have $8 left on a $100 gift card I won through some sweepstakes. What can I spend it on that is computer related?

An "Intel Inside" sticker or something...
Or a couple of blank DVDs... Cheap mouse pad... Some cheap game on Steam... Possibilities are endless

2GB usb flash drive + shipping lol
you're $2 short for a usb 2.5" hdd enclosure
guild wars Newegg.com - Guild Wars: Eye of the North PC Game NCSOFT (I liked the original Factions a lot, expansions might be garbage.. the 2nd definitely is garbage) -
8 Mouse Balls
2 cans of compressed air
Almost 3 sets of Monkey Balls
A Rearview Mirror
Astronaut Ice Cream -
I found Civilization III Complete on Steam for $5 is that any good? I've never play any Civ games before...
-
Civ 2 and Civ 4 are great, but Civ 3 sucks. I would hate to see you sour yourself on that.
Go over to gog.com and snag a $5.99 game then buy an energy drink!
Or get Company of Heroes Gold for $7.49 at Steam if you like RTS games.

Buy some screen wipes, they always come in handy.

I've never had Astronaut Ice Cream so I would have spent the $8 on that.
-
eh, real ice cream is better.
As far as the $8.00, I would wait for a steam sale, they have some genuinely good stuff go that low sometimes (a $30.00 game at 75% off) -

Freespace 2 is only awesome.

Freespace 2 seconded, thirded, whatever... if you have not played this game, and you are able to enjoy space shooters at all, then you need to get this game right the hell now.
And then you need to download the Freespace Source Code Project for the updated graphics. The graphics of Freespace 2 were already ahead of their time. The graphics update makes the game look as good as most modern games, and better than some.
$8 burning a hole in my pocket.
