And? Just means you have it setup wrong. Or rather haven't done it right. Plenty of guides out there, google is your friend.

do u have win 8 and these drivers? maybe ur setup is different. I have set everything up correctly just like in windows 7. I modified the registry to disable ulps, i modified the cfg file to enable overclocking in afterburner and still nothing. like i said, it was ever since moving to win 8 and the new beta drivers

Reinstall afterburner again, if that doesnt work try 2.2.0, that worked for me :).

2.2.5 should work fine. Restart your computer and run Kombuster before starting Afterburner. Your clocks should show up. You copied atipdlxx.dll to your afterburner folder right?

thanks guys got it working now. However once i overclock, even a little, i get jumpy lines on the screen and instability. However flashing the vbios to any clocks works fine, seems like afterburner is messing with something

Change unofficial overclocking mode from 1 to 2 in the cfg file if you haven't. That should improve oc stability with afterburner.

Does this improve FPS in Witcher 2 and BF 3? I get 25-30 FPS on 1920x1080 on High settings during first mission of BF 3.

i no longer get bsod in games with beta 6, where beta 4 gave me bsod in many games like diablo III and need for speed most wanted.

I'm using these drivers ATM for some time already, and I must say they are no worse than any WHQL AMD drivers I've tried before. Scored 6605 3dmark11 on my first run and well, no crashes or BSODS in so far.
Altho, I'm still getting weird flickering in Skyrim whenever my char is outdoors. Problems persisted in 12.10 WHQL. Hopefully AMD is going to have a look at it before WHQL release.

It's part of the AMD drivers that AMD stopped using before I think around 12.8. So it's only for AMD. You can find the file easily either on Overclock UK or Guru3D, or google AMD unofficial overlcoking afterburner.

Just tested it and its broken when loading save...

People are saying its becouse HD 6000 series should not use this drivers on Dishonored (cant be fixed). If you wanna play go back to 12.10 whql.

So far, the latest Beta7 working on an Envy 17 3200 CTO with 7850m.

    3dmark11 -

    Stock clocks (675/1000) - AMD Radeon HD 7850M video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-3610QM Processor,Hewlett-Packard 1853 score: P2997 3DMarks

    800/1000 - AMD Radeon HD 7850M video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-3610QM Processor,Hewlett-Packard 1853 score: P3380 3DMarks

    800/1125 - AMD Radeon HD 7850M video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-3610QM Processor,Hewlett-Packard 1853 score: P3428 3DMarks

    800/1300 - AMD Radeon HD 7850M video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-3610QM Processor,Hewlett-Packard 1853 score: P3470 3DMarks

I am happy with these drivers. I will have to see if I get any BSODs while gaming. It is funny that my scores don't jump much with the memory OC, mostly when the chip itself is OC'd. 800mhz is the highest I have gotten stable, although I have not tried to raise clocks yet with this set of drivers. With the stock HP drivers it shipped with, 800 actually causes an artifact every now and then, but with 12.10 or higher no problem.

Edit - I cannot find a program that will read GPU temp after installing this beta (GPUZ, MSI afterburner, HWmonitor, Open HWmonitor... nothing), anyone else have this problem?

Most reliable temperature monitoring comes from MSI Kombustor in my experience.

I couldn't get overclocking to work with the beta7; it gave me an instant BSOD even while using Kombuster. I did do a 3DMark11 run on stock clocks and scored 65xx which is better than my beta3 score. I'm back to beta6 now, waiting impatiently on the final driver release

I have those on Win 7. I think the BSOD is for those that are trying to OC. Not sure but that's what was going on on the first couple pages of this thread I think.
