Here is a ViciousXUSMC exclusive.
How to get infinity points and buy yourself all the upgrades easy without spending hours point farming.
There is no cheat code to do this, I actually had to do a little hack for it.
So I took the time to put together a nice little guide and teach everybody else how to do it also!

Enjoy!

Sweet! Will give it a go later. +1!

That is not fair!
The fun of the game is to kill everything/everyone and get the points.
But it looks very fun and useful!
Thanks! +1 -

wait like 2 min and try again.
If I could afford it I would get paid hosting, I tossed some ads on the site to make a bit of money but nobody ever clicks them. If they did I could upgrade to better hosting. -

Edit: I have infinity HP working in my game right now, it took a long time I had to isolate over a million addresses to find the right one. Thing is that its too hard to find in a search and in a lot of games the address for something like this is not static.
But currently the address I am using is
1C4776BE
To try this cheat from CE in the middle area you will see "add address manually" click that and type in that address 1C4776BE, it will add itself to the edit box, and click the check box next to it to freeze the address. This means the program will refresh the value of this address over and over very quickly. Basically meaning you get hit and then in less than a second your at full hp again.
I'll have to load a few saves I have and see if the address is static, if it is not I need to find an easy way to isolate it and find it so that it can be found via search.
Edit: dont bother with the HP cheat the address is not static I tried another save and it did not work.
I did record a small video of it in action thoughI'll encode it now and put it on youtube.

i found out in the beginning i can use the blade and (i have a xbox 360 controller) and LT+Square him like tens times to stunn him and then B and X him ten times. but as you know, you can't go next to him for no longer then 3 seconds. (in the begining he takes 10 seconds before he attacks you)
then i got a helicopter, and no matter how high i go, he throws something and blows it up. -

Im just now far enough that I fought that super supreme hunter or what ever, he kicked my butt a few times trying to use the blade. What ended up working so well was just running/jumping around using the whip mouse 2 attack, it did just as much damage as a blade slice while keeping me far away and safe.
I dont know if this will work on the boss.
Video encode 12% gonna take awhile, I did ultra ultra high quality H264 encode and its kinda overkill lol. You tube will butcher it anyways. -

where did you get that avitar from
but the problem is when you get his health all to a certain point. you have 1:25 to kill him. -

I just got hold of some information, both on how to handle the dynamic relocation of memory addresses so that I can share cheats like god mode, and also how to compile a trainer so you dont even have to do the hard work.
I'll look into this stuff later tonight in my down time, if all goes well NBR may have a new official game hacker guy around -
I've never liked cheats, I've always found them really cheap lol. I used to cheat on a few ijji games with CE, but at the end of the day what's the point in playing a game if you're going to cheat through it.
I completed Prototype in under a week without cheating, maxxed out everything including the stuff you can't buy with EP (by consuming people in bases). It wasn't all that hard =-/ -

Its not that its hard, its that it was boring to me.
I want to finish the game and move onto the next one (SF4) this is one of those things that is just speeding up the game, not really cheating.
God mode, thats cheating. But saving yourself a few hours of points grinding is just effective use of your time, esp when you are a busy guy like me that has more important things to do than sit infront of the computer.
Also this is not just a cheat, its a tutorial on memory editing, it comes in handy for a lot of things. Also prototype has crashed on me like 3 times forcing me to go back to the start of a mission it owes me about an hour of time back
Also there are constructive ways to use "cheats" what if your torn between one upgrade or the other, use this and test them both. then reload your save and dont use the cheat and get the one you want more. -

yeah but i'm suck at the last level and i can't go back and i need the arm upgrade. and i don't like cheating also but when it comes to hard situations like this.
it's like bringing answers to a test(playing the game and have the cheats with you) and you are stuck at the last question(last level) but never used the answers for the rest.(played fair) and you really want a good score(beat it). you look left and right and you pull it out. (score) -
I have way too much fun killing everything that moves to ever use this. I like to take my time with games and enjoy every moment.

I found it quite fun for my 10 minutes in god mode running around without getting blown to pieces and using unlimited devastator attacks
-
yea but if you wanna get the ep "fairly" there's an easier way also in one of the missions. The one when you're in the helicopter and you have to go around doing random stuff helping out the blackwatch soldiers and all, don't complete the missions just yet. Go around with your infected vision scouting for water towers (There are TONS) and just destroy them with the heli or manually (Park the heli somewhere, dont jump out of it or the mission restarts). You get like 12 or 13k ep for each tower destroyed i think. That's simply a faster way to farm EP if you dont wanna cheat xD

Lol...you dont need cheats for this game...youre already a god!!!!
Lol I love going around killing everything!
If you have to use a cheat for the game, then youre a cheater!!
lol im kidding, obviously youre a cheater...but whatever floats your boat.
oh has anyone found all the markers? I found all the hints, the other ones I have 4 left...
I was going to make a map of all the locations. isnt there a program or something that does that for you? I remember doing it for AoC. -

Im doing this from a learning perspective I really like learning the game coding and how to edit the game code.
In the past like say final fantasy 3 I wrote like a 100 page game genie cheat novel that let me program my guys to have enemy abilities and weapons that were never put in the game.
for for final fantasy 7 there was the cheat to be able to play as sephiroth.
These things to me are not cheats its expanding the game and what it has to offer, its great to have those kind of abilities at your disposal.
For prototype as an example, remember the mission where you get the omg powerfull tank? just imagine having a code so that you can use that tank when ever you want. thats fun to me. I wouldn't use it to beat the game or progress in story mode, but if I want to log on for 30min and go blow stuff up nothing wrong with having a way to get some extra stuff in the game.
This infinity points hack was just the start of me learning how to do more advanced codes like the tank. -
^^ plus rep viscious, I remember people got something like this to work with world at war during the beta.
' wonder if it still does.
