    ¿ SIS Mirage 2 Chip ?

    anyone play HL 1 or HL2, counter strike 1.6 or any other older FPS game using a laptop with this graphics card? if so can you jpost up the fps you're getting. and/or talk about how good it actually is.

    hl2 is not really playable, i used to have one about 2 months ago.. i don't remember the frames i had, but it was under 10fps. halflife 1 should work pretty well, quake3 might work too.. i have had alot of problems with newer games, 3dmark05 would not even run although the developers claim it's DX9 compatible.. i'd recommend you to buy another laptop if you want to play some more or less new games.

    as long as HL1 works im happy. because then cs1.6 will work. i really dont play any other cpu games and if i find one i know to use my PC

    Just be careful gaming on integrated graphics - you can overheat the northbridge. I recommend getting a cooling pad.

    never heard of overheating an integrated graphics chip, but that's possible as they havent got an active cooling system.. but HL1 won't overheat anything :)
