    Hi -

If I lose dual channel and go with 2 uneven sticks (1 GB + 512 MB), how much performance will I gain or lose? Thanks.

You still have dual channel with mismatched sticks. And you won't lose any noticeable performance by going single channel.

So in the case of memory, more is always better.
