10.4a for HD 4xxx,3xxx,2xxx

Dunno if anyone noticed .... but the 10.4Preview drivers for the HD 4xxx,3xxx,2xxx is out

I was under the impression Mobility modder did not work on 10.3+?

 

hmms i need those for mobility. getting sick of 40 sec+ loading in bad company. all the good stuff like tanks and choppers long gone when i spawn..
ati hurry and release the damn 10.4 already..

 

I can't lie to you my mobility modding experience is not that good. I was always against mobility modding especially that before 10.3, Acer kindda maintained a not very late drivers so I didn't see the point of doing it ..... but still you can check if anyone managed to do it because I would really be annoyed if I have a 40+ secs in loading a certain game

 

Yep would also love to know how to install this on my mobility 4850.

 

As of right now these are a no go on mobility cards, maybe someone can figure it out but I have tried most the workarounds I know of and they have been unsuccessful.

They are the leaked 10.6 drivers and they have mobility support

 

it seems that the leaked mobile 10.6 drivers reduce BC2 loading times a lot... try that...

 

it seems but did not with me.. even doubled loading times... 10.6 no go

 

Only for 5xxx cards, did not speed up 4xxx or 3xxx cards.

 

what i should get for mobility radeon 4530 on pavilion dv6-1100eo ? 10.3 failed...

 

I heard 9.7 is the best should I try it out? I find the latest mobility radeon catalyst drivers not stable when I OC to 800-830mhz on the core and 985.5mhz on memory when I play crysis at 1680x1050 reso despite smooth framerates and 100% stability in stress testing and cool sub 75C peak temps. The game will always crash very early on while at much lower reso's it is fine. Starting to annoy me as at native 1680x1050 in dx10 I can put everything on enthusiast except shaders and shadow which I leave on gamer and it not only looks amazing but plays amazing. There has to be more stable driver options out there.

anyone have any idea if the 10.4 WHQL will have a 2D fix for the HD4570 ??? because it is not normal for such a GPU tunning 100% clocks to get 30 fps max at windows desktop and lower when trying to open folders and such
