Is there a way to enable stretch to fit screen on 10.6? Whenever I choose a resolution lower than native, I get black bar around my screen. My desktop computer running 10.6 does not have this problem, so I'm not sure why my laptop does.

    Help would be greatly appreciated

I think it depends. But if i get black bars i go to:

Catalyst Control Center>Desktop & displays>Right click on monitor>Configure>Attributes>Check Full screen

Thats how it looks on mine, might be a little different on yours

    Hi everyone,

Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately, I already have "full screen" selected in CCC. I've also followed the instructions from Magus's link again just to make sure. Still no "fit to screen".

Uninstall and clean any trace of ATI Catalyst with Driver Sweeper.
Had to do something similar to fix a overscan issue with my HDTV.
My HDTV settings are 1920x1080 no overscan and ATI Catalyst would still go back to default overscan settings of 15% when i launched games. :(

Hmm, uninstalled drivers from device mangers. I then uninstall remaining programs from add/remove programs. Rebooted into safe mode. Used driver sweeper, than CC cleaner. Restarted again, installed 10.6. Still the same issue.

Is no one else having this problem? =\ Further help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!
