After playing cz (condition zero) for 2 hrs...the GPU temperature read 100 celcius.....i am writing on NBR after quite long time so little vague but is that temperature critical? Should i immediately shut it down when it reaches 100?

GPUs (especially mobile GPUs) will run over 100 degrees C under heavy load. As long as you're not seeing graphical corruption and the system isn't crashing, it's fine.
-
Yea, unless the part is defective it should be able to withstand up to something like 120 degrees Celsius before incurring permanent damage.
My MBP GPU hits 98 degrees Celsius when running Supreme Commander on dual monitors.
Still works fine for me! -
u could invest in a cooling pad

Anything approaching 100-105C is dangerous for silicon parts like your notebook...it should NOT be getting that hot. I'd say 90-95C is getting a tad close to the edge of comfort.
Hotter would probably work, but it will have a shorter life. Get a cooling pad, and read the Cooling Guide. -
How are you vents looking? Maybe they need a little dusting to ensure proper ventilation.

100C would be indeed a little high if you had a high end card. But for an IGP is wayyy to much. The chip doesn't eat up toomuch power so it shouldn't get near it. Cleaning your heatsink might help alot

Maybe you should clean the laptop vents with a can of compressed air ASAP. Those temps are dangerous , even 90C would be a lot. I never go over 75, and I`m using the 7950GTX which has a 45W TDP...

If 105 degrees Celsius is the shutdown threshold for my GPU, then you should consider looking into this with a little more detail.
100 Degree Celsius! Should i Pour Water?
