does such a beast exist?
disregarding brand and price
i looked all over but couldnt find one, smallest i found was 13.3" widescreen which is way too big

There are some. What I can find is Asus F9 (12", 8400M G), LG A1 (10,6" go7300), LG C1 (10,6" go7300), LG R200 (12" HD2300/x2300), LG TX (12" go7300/go7400), LG Z1 (12" X1350).
-
yea but how many of these can i buy in the states? i looked on ebay and couldnt find any of them for sale...
edit: except for the F9, but only the old F9J version -
well, eBay is for old laptops. You could try for a Dell xps M1210, a 12" with a go7400. It's quite large and heavy though. The Asus F9 is available at newegg.com.

ok i found the ASUS F9DC-A1 on newegg, which comes with a Geforce 8400M G 128mb, ive never heard of this card is it different from 8400m GS?, also what kind of 3dmark 06 score does it have?
-
About 1000.
-
about as strong as a go7400, I'd say. It's one step lower than 8400M GS

The Samsung Q45 can have an 8400M GS. That's 12.1" WXGA. ALso the LG C1 which is a 10.6" tablet with a Geforce Go 7300.
-
That's a 12"? Man, that must be he most powerful 12" out right now,
-
can you point me to a US site where they sell the Q45? i couldnt find one, only UK, with the 8400GS, not the x3100 which they also come with..
edit:after looking on samsung's website they dont even list the 8400m gs as an option on the Q45 -
I don't think you can get a Samsung laptop in the US without importing it. Don't they have a contract with one of the brand name companies stating that they can't sell their laptop here?
12" laptop w/ dedicated graphics?
