F.E.A.R. and Quake 4 are set to be released on October 18th. I just placed orders for both. $115 for two games (deluxe DVD editions). Definitely a pricey entertainment investment. I hope they're worth it.

Wow! $115 on just games! That's more that I would spend....unless the game is that good! I'll be interested to hear your thoughts on them after you run through a few levels! :p

I played the F.E.A.R. Demo, I thought that was pretty cool - I might just buy it for the graphics! The shadows are amazing in that.

Yeah, that's a bit steep, to be sure. You can get the standard CD versions for less. These are most likely the last games I'll play for a long time. I'm getting kinda bored with games. I know, that's almost a sacrilege. HA!! Maybe I'll just take a break from them for awhile after I finish these two.

Yeah, you will get your money's worth.

Quake 4 will be great, look at how long Q3 has been useful.

FEAR is quite spooky. I wished it played a bit better on my x700 but I have read that the released game runs better than the demo.

my friend got the game a week in advance because circuit city accidently placed 'em on the shelf. Most likely they mistook the boxes as those preorder boxes....and I tell ya...this game is fantastic
