I like to run games in 1200p on my laptop display and have 100+ games set up for 1200p.

Now I just got a 720p 3d projector and it works great except I don't always game on the projector, sometimes I like to game on the go. It has become really a bother to always manually set the resolution back and forth.

Basically, for quick access to games, I set up a folder with all my executables linked up through shortcuts.

What I want to do is set up a folder called "stereo 3d games" with the same shortcuts, but that automatically set the games to 1280x720 instead of the regular resolution of 1920x1200.

I would prefer this to be done directly in the shortcut, but if for some games I need to set up a .bat I would do this too.

Here is a quick list of games I have off the top of my head: Crysis, Cod black ops, assassin's creed 2, Warcraft 3, Left 4 dead 2, Street Fighter 4, Lost planet 2, Battlefield bad company 2, Prototype, Fallout 3, Grand theft auto EoLC etc.

Let me know what you think is the best way I can achieve it and explain how to do it.
    Thanks.

I believe you need to type something after the file path in the short cut preceeded by a dash. Something along these lines but with proper commands:

    "C://Program Files/Crysis/Crysis.exe" -SR1920x1200

I didn't mean that "-SR1920x1200" is the exact command to use. It isn't. I was just trying to point you in the right direction for figuring out how to do it. Try googling, "changing resolution with program shortcut" or something similar.

Everything I've come across that way hasn't been useful. That's why I'm posting here. From what I've tried with shortcuts, nothing seems to work. So the only thing that would work is setting up two .reg file that change the registry keys to 1080p and 720p. This way I can easily switch modes, without having to go into regedit every time. Is anyone here good with reg files?
Here is an example of a video setting key that I want altered between 1080p and 720p using a .reg file.
