Yesterday I fired up my desktop to play a little BF1, there was a BF1 update as well as Windows update. The first thing I noticed was that my frames would not exceed 125, I thouhgt it was a BF1 issue so I spent some time troubleshooting BF1, I made sure the caps were turned off PXOC MSI AB/RTSS. When this didn't hjelp I noticed the cap was also in TW3 and DOOM. Is there some sort of Windows BS that has done this?

Don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure this is due to Windows 10 enabling Xbox DVR after the update.

That's fun... I don't see anything popping up for Windows, or Windows Game, or Battlefield 1, or anything @ 125 FPS.

Did you happen to install a new RTSS or Afterburner + RTSS and activate some old configuration settings?

I fully removed RTSS and AB then reinstalled the latest versions, still locked at 126. So far the only clue I have had is to check the Xbox settings, but I removed Xbox a long time ago. The search conttinues....

Thanks, I'll keep looking for that, I may try to reinstall Xbox, that may allow access to that setting.

    I hate Windows 10...

Well after making a few registry changes that were supposed to help but didn't I got MS support to call me. After being switched to SIX different people they said there was nothing they could do. I asked for a supervisor, 1:12 later I'm still on hold. During my wait I upgraded my driver and that fixed the issue, lol.

Back to my buttery smooth 139 FPS
