Does anyone have any benchmark or knows how a Go7600 with 128mb performes compared to Go7600 with 256mb ?

It does make a difference. Now I'm sorry that I don't have benchmarks (I'll try and look some up when I have the time), but an extra 128mb will be useful in future games and games that use heavy use of VRAM like Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, even though the 128bit bus doesnt use the memory as effectively.

Vram does not have as big an impact as GPU so I recommend a good GPU over Vram. 256mb is already quite excessive. Maybe in the near future, Vram will be more useful, but as of right now, it's not THAT important. I mean it's still good to have lots, but 128 and 256 are very similar.

Yeah unless u play at very high resulutions (1600*1200 or more) you will notice very little performance increase from the 128 extra ram. At high resolutions as mentioned before, the 256 version will give u a somewhat decent boost.

The Radeon X1600 is similar in performance to the Go7600. I have not seen any game benchmarks for the 128MB vs. 256MB version (which are what really count), but I do know that in synthetic benchmarks, the extra 128MB of VRAM on the 256MB card makes a significant difference. A 128MB X1600 gets around 2800 - 3000 marks, where the 256MB X1600 will reach 3800 - 4000.
There are a lot of games out there that can use 256MB of VRAM, easily. If at all possible, get a 256MB card if you are going for the Go7600/X1600 and up. For cards like the Go7400/X1400 and less, it doesn't make a difference because those cards don't have enough power to make effective use of 256MB of dedicated memory. 128MB is perfectly fine for them.
128 vs 256 vram?
