If it meets the requirements, you can play.

Yeah BF2 will run ok, on lower settings depending on the framerate you find acceptable. The earlier ones should be fine too.
-
It meets requirements but I'm not sure about the video card as mobile cards are not mentioned in requirements list.

Yeah, they don't normally mention the mobile cards, but if you see the desktop card supported, then your laptop will work as well.

I searched the site and x300 is in here :-
In order of performance:
ATI Radeon 9600
ATI Radeon X300
ATI Radeon 9700
if I increase the RAM to 1 GB, I should be all set I guess... even though 128mb video ram barely meets requirements... -

BattleField 2 can be played on a 64MB GPU fine, so 128MB is fine.
I would definitely get 1GB or more RAM to play it. Go for a 1GB stick, then add it to what you have. So if you have 2x256MB, you can replace one of the 256MB sticks and have 1.25GB. -
how did u get it to play on a 64 mb my computer meets every requirement except it has a 64 mb gpu and it wont play
-
the x300 is invincible ahaha. OCed i get blistering 1700 3dmark05 scores lol. but you should be fine, i havn't experienced any problems playing games with mine

What is the 64mb GPU? Theres a lot more things that determine how good a video card is than its VRAM.

It ran fine at reduced settings, but still looked good. It was definitely out of VRAM though, it got choppy in heavy texture areas and if I turned up the res a notch. If you're going to get a card like the X700, you should get 128MB or more to take advantage of its power. -
im trying to run it on a compaq evo n8ooc 2.0 ghz processor with a ati radeon 7500 64 mb and it meets every requirement except the gpu and i was tryin to see if there was any way to bypass that

Download a program called "Oldblivion" it should let you play on older graphics cards.
