    WET looks interesting, ive already preordered a copy of Dragonage Origins so the only other game that will tempt me is MW2, assassin's creed 2 but i havent played the original so cant see myself getting the second one yet.

    Supposedly it's the same engine as the original CoD4, which I'm running right now on a 4570 256MB. I think you'll be just fine with MW2.

    To be 100% honest there are a couple of games that are missing for that list.

    I think there 30 games that are really gonna be great in this 2009. one that i HAVE TO add is:

    Metroid Prime : Trilogy Man i cannot wait for that! That'll be like 100 hours of gameplay to beat all of that.

    Darn no Mass Effect 2...although pretty happy with a lot of them...definitely don't want to see anymore Rock band and Guitar Hero...too many at this stage, could easily be made DLC.

    That's not a very promising list. I'm excited about Modern Warfare 2 and Splinter Cell and that's about it. I'm interested in Borderlands and possibly Wet, but since it's console only, I think I'll pass.

    Yeah Mass Effect 2 will be great i cant wait for that.

    I think this is a good list definitely for console players though there is still some good things this year for PC gamers

    Assume the system requirements will be the same if not a bit higher than the first MW (128 MB GF 6600/ATi 9800, though it'll run decently even on something lower). I expect them to require a 256 MB 6800/ATi X700/800 this time around since I'm sure they'll push the graphics a bit more, though I wouldn't be surprised by the game having the same specs as the first.

    Can't wait for Modern Warfare 2, Assassin's Creed 2, maybe Halo:ODST. StarCraft 2 seems interesting, but I really can't wait for Mass Effect 2. Mass Effect was awesome, and now we need to continue the story

    All I want is Diablo 3. I've not played any game recently which has taken up as much of my free time as the Diablo games have done in the past. I have a feeling though that my Fiance has told all game stores to tell me they are out of stock whenever it releases........

    I'm pumped for Modern Warfare 2. I'm semi-pumped for Left 4 Dead 2, but I'd prefer it be an expansion or something of the sort since it looks so similar to the first.

    I know this isn't a PC game, but Uncharted 2 is going to be the most impressive game coming in 2009. The E9 footage and the beta videos are all the proof you'll need. I haven't played L4D enough to even justify spending $40 on it. I need to play that game A LOT more before I ever think about getting Left 4 Dead 2. Won't be getting MW2 because it won't run well on my PC. I want to play that game on all high on a good gaming rig (I have a laptop with 8600m gs). I wasn't able to play MW on the PC. I had to settle for the Xbox 360 version. Also, Infinity will have to pull off crazy stuff to put together a game that IS worth $60 since CoD4 was so good. I just think it will be more of the same, not offering a different kind of gaming experience. I'll wait til the reviews, but I'm 100% certain that I'll enjoy Uncharted 2 more than MW2 simply because I've already played MW1 before and because Uncharted 2 is probably going to have more engrossing characters, a more interesting story, more twists/conflicts, and will be either just as visceral or come close to it. I'm sad, but not surprised that Starcraft 2(the game of the century) won't be here in 2009.

    Lastly, Assassin's Creed 2 might surprise people. It depends on if it really delivers on the gameplay and it doesn't end up being repetitive like the first one. I can't believe Ubisoft had 450 people working on this game, lol...
