    14' inch with good graphic card

    whats the best graphic card that is present on a 14" inch laptop? what 14" inch screen laptop will that be? :)

    I guess the Acer 55xx with x700 or the SONY SZ(I THINK, not sure, check their forums) with x700.

    Both did not really get rave reviews though...

    actually the Sony SZ comes with an ATI X1600.. dunno the bench marks but i've been hearing that its a little better than the X700

    The SZ is pretty hot, but it's a little smaller. The Asus W3v is a 14" wide with decent graphics.

    the asus w3j (which will be out at the end of march) will have an X1600 also, which should be good.

    sony sz has a hybrid 950 gma and a nvidia geforce 7400

    the msi ms1022 has a gefore 6200 in it. not a powerhouse but also not too expensive

    definitely on the not too expensive.. it's even cheaper than the W3a/z63a (the W3 with integrated graphics) :eek:

    The SZ has a Go7400 as posted, not an X1600 - you're thinking of the Asus W3j. ;)

    Compal EFL-30 in addition to what everyone else is saying - has a 64MB Go6400.

    For a non-widescreen notebook, there is the Dell Latitude D610 with the 64MB X300 and the ThinkPad T-series has a dedicated graphics option. However, I wouldn't use either of those for 3D, not what they are designed for, and the performance won't be great because they are low-end GPU's.
