No, no 15" notebook could house that much heat (both ways). Only 17+" desktop replacements and desktops could.

15" notebook can't even handle a single 7950GTX and you're asking for SLI...lol :p But yea, only a few 17" notebooks and desktops can use SLI 7950GTX.

Sager and Clevo are the same computer, just rebranded. But in all honesty, get a Sager/Clevo. Alienware is just a boutique brand that doesn't do one better, if at all, but supposedly is suppose to "amaze" you with their aesthetics. Dell is just that, Dell.

With SLI, the cheapest (new) laptop is probably the Alienware m9750, depending on where you are and what kind of config you want. You can also look at one of the older AMD single core laptops with SLI MXM slots, those will be pretty cheap if you can find them used, and will support the 7950GTX in SLI.

There are only three 17" laptops that have two MXM slots, the outdated Arima W830-DA (Alienware m9700) with a single core Turion and AW ships it with 7900GS's ($2150). Then there's the monstrous 13lb Clevo D901C fielded by Voodoo($5000), Falcon NW($5000, Sager($3400), Prostar($3300), Eurocom($3400) etc. and the 8.5lb Arima W835-DI (Alienware m9750)($3700)

The m9750 is not confirmed on what MXM type it uses, however it's pretty much guaranteed to be type III. That would mean that yes, it uses the same cards as the m9700.
