Ok my brother gave up on 17 inch laptops because he decided there too big so now he wants a 15 inch laptop preferablt amd or at least ati graphics. Anyways, what exists with either a hd 3650 or a 2600 in the 15 inch market with preferably amd processor. I'm thinking something high end puma...Anything out right now like that or is anythign coming soon? Thanks.

There is the Toshiba A300 too. If you want battery life, don't go AMD. Honestly. As for ATI+AMD notebooks, wait a while longer, there should be more coming up.

Why would you want such a thing? NVIDIA + Intel FTW!

Not me, my brother has a laptop with an old amd processor and an ati x700 so he likes the couple. Plus, ati seems to be beating nvidia as of recently with no heat issues, solid preformance, etc. intel vs amd doesn't have enough of a difference for me to really push an intel processor in his face so thats the deal.
@johnny T waiting can only go on for so long. what do you think is coming up soon? it seems like the 3650 and 8600gt aren't going to be updated in the next couple weeks as far as I know.

Well a notebook with Turion Ultra and HD3650 should come up. Puma hasn't been out for all that long...

im suprised ATI hasn't bothered to release many of the new GPU's...they will just keep getting crushed by Nvidia on the mid-high end market unless they start releasing things

I wish they would just skip the 3000 and drop some mobility 4000 series because that would be craaazy.
