I've been looking at the elcipse 8252D notebook and have configured it to a quite high spec. My only concern is the possibilty of updating the graphics. the chip set is Intel 965PM and it currently has an 8600M GS which id be quite happy with at the minute. i was wondering if anyone knows where i can finoud out any further info on the chipset to see is a grahpics upgrade would be possible and what other options there would be to upgrade to.

Unless your eclipse notebook has an MXM-format video card you cannot upgrade your laptop video card PERIOD. It's a boutique brand as well which makes it harder to tell if it's similar to the Asus C90 which supports MXM-video cards thanks to its motherboard.

thanks for that. i contacted eclipse techincal support and they didn't know what MXM was so id go with the 99.9% sure it aint there. might look else where for a decent spec laptop at a good price
