Most 15.4" business notebooks come with GDDR3 memory.

The NVIDIA Quadro FX 570M, which is the quadro version of the 8600m GT, uses GDDR3 RAM. I think you can find them in the high end ibm laptops. Also the Asus c90s can be configured with an 8600m GT GDDR3 now.

yeah. i would get the m15x if it didn't come with alienware prices and a macbook pro if it wasnt a mac haha. (i know u can dual boot but still eh) asus c90 is huge and the "customization" stuff seems like a gimmick =\
hmm, i guess i'll have to wait for the next best budget gpu on 15.4'' (im a little picky i guess, but a laptop for me is a huge investment)

Well, there would be also the option of the Asus M51Sn, which comes with the 9500M GS which is essentially the 8600gt just smaller and a little little bit better (that is what benches say, but i cant say how much it really is, perhaps only 2 fps or something like that)

I don't know if it comes with gddr3 though...

*edit* and here in canada it is really a budget notebook, it is for sale at 1100Cad$
