    some guy was talking abt version 163.71 ...then what is 165.01 ? ...i installed 165.01 for my geforce 6100 and my computer screen goes blank when i open device manager (coz of user account permission feature on vista)..


    should i install 163.XX drivers again? advice me the latest driver ...thanks

    Man, how many threads are you going to start a day? Read the stickies for drivers. The current ones are the Bioshock 163.44.

    just try rolling back your driver and see if that helps.

    i tried 163.44 ... vista nearly crashed..system wasnt starting..went blank...so i used system restore and rolled back the driver to original driver..has anyone tried 163.69 ??..its the latest on nvidia site for 6 series......well i am enthusiastic abt learning all abt gaming n graphics so hence these many threads.....

    No offense but gaming does not go along laptop especially not with a geforce 6100. i have a 8600m gt so my experience probably doesn't help but all the drivers works, besies the .71 which i haven't tried.

    P.S. 165.01 is old old, ancient driver.
