previously, i was using 163.44, it was working exceptionally with bioshock and crisis.

but when i upgraded to 169.01, i noticed lag, not game breaking, but just so bad that it was annoying, like tiny pauses between footsteps and what not.

i reverted back and now everything is great. anyone know if i did anything wrong? i hear 169.01 is sopposed to be da ****

I had 163.75 with no issues (didnt try bioshock on those I had 163.45 I think and those were fine for bioshock) updated to these and I amd d/l crysis now but so far see no issues with these. Temps are WAY down due to powermiser working now, they allow overclocking the easy way right there in the nvidia control panel, and they are supposed to be a huge leap in performance for crysis vs older drivers and have been reported by several users on the forums to do just that.

They are definitly a staple in my setup.

I have no vista score loss or lag with aero like some others reported eather.

My machine is a different monster than most notebooks tho. So they can effect everybody diffrently. Make sure you followed proper uninstall/install methods tho before you blame the drivers for anything.

Hmm I never thought about it until now, but I had a blue screen crash after instaling the new drivers. I'm not sure if there is a connection and there isn't any continuing problem, but maybe it's linked.

When I went from 169.27 to 169.01 I didnt notice a great differnce as many people were reporting albeit it did improve a bit. Now with 169.02 I see a good difference and am quite happy.

Before with same settings at same location my fps would be 25 with 169.01...now its 30 with 169.02 :)
