I`ve installed the driver today. Not even a half of a frame difference from my former 169.04. Since it`s the newer version though,it`s staying. Until it starts doing no-no`s on my system.

Why are these newer drivers giving me crap performance compared to the older ones?

I just hope that nvidia will release some drivers that INCREASE performance and not DECREASE (like this one)

Well, if it helps, 169.21 corrected a problem in UT3 where after 20mins or so in warfare maps the textures started flickering, getting to a point where it was unplayable.

    So its not ALL bad.

Haven't tried these yet. Might give them a miss.

    Wow, what a difference!

I'm seeing a HUGE difference from 169.09! This 169.25 is giving me great performance! My aero is soooo smooth now and I just finished playing NHL 08 at full graphics and it barely slowed down!

I think it's SP1 messing something up. I had the same problem, but got it to work on my machine.
Try deleting your driver, and use Driver Sweeper to get rid of leftovers. Then revert back to stock driver, which SHOULD contain the missing files. When you've done that, try installing the 169.25

    No SP1 here.

None of that crap is working. Either it says a file is missing or the sys files have invalid hash and are corrupt.

After some more testing, I noticed these driver are awesome! they improved my crysis fps with 5 !
I can now do 1024 , all med, with average 35 fps, and mins of 25 :D I did not notice the increase before because whatever the game, I change the setting so that I have at least 50 fps. Crysis being so demanding,I`ve tried pushing settings down without killing the graphics, and this driver did the trick!
    I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT !

Great! Finally a solution, though I managed to install it after 500 attempts, without really knowing the solution :)
