I was playing battlefield 2 today and i had to ALT+TAB to a chat window. I noticed that AERO was disabled. When i closed BF2, Aero automatically enables again. Which makes me think these drivers disable AERO temporarily while gaming to improve performance. Good stuff hey

Anyone else notice this with this or other drivers?

So far these drivers havent crashed on me and very stable. I will recommend it to any 8400m GS users

It has always been like that with aero :) You can see it glimt quickly when you start an 3d application, to disable it.

I think this is how i got extra performance on the stress test, by automatically and temporarly disabling aero (which hogs resource)
