    Just wondering if this driver is worth the upgrade or even 174.31 is worth the upgrade.. Currently using 174.16 and its running fine.

    The 174.x series are for the 9th series GPUs. The 169.x drivers seem to be among the best for the 7th and 8th series.

    why is the nvidia.com 174.74 driver 64mb and the laptopvideo2go.com 174.74 driver only 34mb??

    LV2G uses better compression techniques, both extract to same size. Nvidia one might be smaller when extracted as it may have been English only where as LV2G are international.
