Ever since I installed the 180.70 drivers from laptopvideo2go with the modded INF my laptop wont boot like it normally would from sleep mode. It will act like the computer crashed and ask if I want to start windows normally, or safe mode etc. Anyone else experiencing this problem or found a fix?

Yep.. Does the same to me.. Only, in my case it doesn't wake up from sleep.. I have to force a shutdown.. I was trying to figure out whether it was a BIOS update that messed it up.. but seems it were the graphics drivers after all..

Yea, lucky it wasn't the BIOS. I just wish there was a way to fix this because it keeps my gpu at a much lower temperature than the 179.13 drivers.

    works good on my laptop..

i have mine set to sleep when i close the lid, then i just open the laptop and press a key..

you guys did install the moded inf right? and uninstalled the previous drivers before you set the new ones etc?

    by the way my laptop:
    Asus g50vt-x1
    9800m gs

just in case it might be an issue with 8 series cards maybe? would that matter?

I think it should compatible with your graphic card !
For example, in the package of 177.73, 180.70, I can find "nvdm.inf" (original dell inf) and it supports 8600M GT too. So it's compatible with my graphic card :)
